The sequel has soiled my memories of this sadly, but hoping this paves the way for the Ace Ventura films!

As for DUMB AND DUMBER - 4 cuts with no Theatrical Version Blu-ray release anywhere to be found on BD . . . maybe a perfect opportunity here with this steelbook ?!

Theatrical vs Uncut -"The theatrical version is the movie that the Farrelly Brothers made . . . the Blu-ray is the version where the studio took unfunny deleted scenes and patched the movie together so they could sell it as "Unrated" - which only means it was not submitted to the ratings board - and has nothing to do with the content they added or whether or not the new content would change the rating given to the original film.Those scenes were deleted by the Farrelly Brothers for a reason".

(1) UK / US - Uncut - 113 mins BD ---- (2) US - TC 107 mins DVD ------ (3) UK - TC - 102 mins DVD ------ (4) Australia TC 101 mins DVD

That being said the Zavvi listing has the steelbook running time at 107 mins . . . listed as the Theatrical Version runtime . . . so who knows.

Would be brilliant to have both versions on the disc in this steelbook and not just a re-package of the Uncut Version.

You realise this is a Warner release? All previous UK releases were EIV with the EXCEPTION of a recently released Warner Bros DVD with a runtime of 102 minutes.

My money is on that being what we get.

Another one of my favourite films of all time. Pure comedy gold. Still remember many dialogues by heart. Sadly the PQ is too bad thanks to DNR.
