Good Will Hunting. I love his character in that movie, the way he gives Damon a hard time about not living up to his potential, and the look on his face when he realizes Damon actually listened to him. Very glad to see his career looking good again.

Armageddon. I feel his performance was really quite genuine. His emotion and the comedic edge works. Really it's Bay's second best at directing actors.

ben affleck is a wonderful actor, and he's even more great if he's also directing the movie with he's in it. So i think, The Town is the best movie for him, as now, for actor/director. but for director only, Gone Baby Gone is way to go.
