I Have Pre-Ordered from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KDU8HQQ/ref=ox_ya_os_product_refresh_T1

$118.99
($125.47 with standard Shipping)

I hope the price drops
I dread Customs charge hope I get away without any customs charges sometimes I do

I did the same. Add gift options and hide pricing on invoice... That means its marked as a gift and usually slips through. There is a customs gift limit of £40 in the UK but i got away with Man of Steel collectors edition and two Friday 13th collections ;)

Fingers crossed buddy

tridon, in the Scream Factory announcement i took it as though it would be them who create the artwork... Not sure if that's the case or just my interpretation but i hope its true :scat:

I fully expect better art to come through as I doubt that the image I posted is official. It works as a placeholder for now, though. ;)

I just hope this set doesn't look cheesy (i.e. a jack o'lantern with 15 discs stacked inside of it).

We should see all the Artwork/Packaging and full extras details announced in June/July
There is more extras yet to be disclosed to us
This could be an amazing release

Just hope it arrives in perfect condition to Rep of Ireland in Sept
Perfect Time for Halloween in October

Well each film is in a black amaray so i can't be a tin or something... I would guess at something like the 1st Star Trek UK movie collection in the large box, thats the only thing i see holding 10 to 15 amaray cases...

Anchor Bay USA and Scream Factory are region locked which i assume is for legal reasons as they have no benifits in limiting their own market. Region free players are sometimes costly, but if you do your research you may find a few cheap old blu ray players like the Tesco own brand Technika BRSS10 or the Best Buy budget player which are region free hackable by the provided blu ray remote... You cpuld also try websites like bombayelectronics that sell region free and US players from around £50 up, thats where i got my Pioneer from and they are great, with customs friendly services if you email them and ask for it ;) PM me if you need any help or more infos... Also the PS4 is bot region free, but for the PS3 there was a website where you could buy a USB with a pre-installed program which bypassed the region locking and cost around £30, you could try looking to see if that works for the PS4 as well ;)
Hope that helps you out a little

I have the Toshiba BDX3200 3D Blu-ray Player
With firmware upgrade you can choose what region you want
I have mine set to Region A for Blu-ray
Also set to region free for DVD
Cost me only €70.00 from Currys.ie 3 years ago and working perfect
Put to good use with Region A Locked Blu-ray Discs

There are some sites that can sell you modified Blu-ray Players
Not all are expensive and some cheap players have remote hack
Google it should turn up the info you need

Halloween Reason for Region A is Shout Factory releases and lot of the times is due to the extras and rights issues making them Locked to Region A

So much excitement for this release! I actually pre-ordered the deluxe set twice - one at Shout Factory for the Lithograph and one of the regular at Amazon. If the litho artwork ends up looking "meh" I can always cancel.

...but I'm guessing I'll be canceling the Amazon pre ;).

The collectible packaging will include a newly commissioned illustration on the outer case and each film will be in its own black Blu-ray™ case with the original theatrical one sheet as the key art. This deluxe set carries an SRP of $169.99.

:bow: so at least we know the discs won't be shoved in some scratchy cardboard sleeves. Lots of good points to this release. Can't wait to see some artwork.

I can imagine the cases being the real thin amaray cases too. I'm just pleased they're gonna be using the original artwork for each one.

Really curious to see the complete list of specs for this as it can be a truly superb release

The real jewel in the crown would be if SF could somehow work out a deal to include the recently unearthed alternate take/BTS/test footage from the original '78 Halloween.

Now THAT would be something...

But reading more into it, it seems like the footage owner is tied/tying up with Synapse, so the chances of it appearing on this AB/SF collaboration are probably zero-to-none.
