Curious to know what some of the top-earning acts in rock and pop music make on the road? The Smoking Gun has posted a chart of several dozen acts across the pop, country, rock and urban genres, with country artists Rascal Flatts topping the list with a nightly fee of just over $700,000. The biggest rock act on the list, Kiss, leaves with half a million every night, while Weezer, Buckcherry and Shinedown earn $150,000, $100,000 and $85,000 respectively.

•Other large earners include Brooks & Dunn with $460,000 a night, Sugarland with $325,000, and little Justin Bieber, who pulls down $300,000 per show.
•Bret Michaels earns just $64,000 a gig despite all his media exposure.

funny how my favourite band is right there on top. I betcha Weezer wishes Gene Simmons was in their band, hahaha.

I was surprised at how low Weezer was compared to a few of the ones at the top. Justin Beiber? Get every dollar you can kid because you'll be done in a couple years tops.
