Probably because it's twice what it'd cost 5 years ago, and people don't have much money, plus they're 'stoopid' and would rather buy The Dark Knight for the 4th time.
Oh, and they think steelbook is the most important part of a 'premium'.

I'll buy one a bit later, just had to rescue a trade from a margin call with all spare 'cash' for now.
