Our Black Friday exclusive can now be fully revealed. Our release of JACK THE RIPPER (1959) contains three versions of the movie (British Version from 1080 telecine, US Version 2k scan of archival print, Bonus DVD of the European Version assembled from British Version and only known tape source of salacious alternate/extended scenes -- the original film elements are currently lost) PLUS a host of exclusive bonus features including full audio commentary with the late British film legends: co director Robert S. Baker and Hammer screenwriter Jimmy Sangster with Assistant Director Peter Manley; Interview with Denis Meikle, author of "Jack the Ripper, The Murders & The Movies"; all new documentary short 'Gentleman Jack - The Whitechapel Murders Revisited' and more!

The limited edition also comes with an Exclusive slip case with the lurid paperback movie tie-in artwork. The regular inner wrap is reversible with two different vintage poster designs.

AVAILABLE BLACK FRIDAY WEEKEND: (regular cover / single disc edition released in 2018, any leftovers of Limited Edition will not be available until regular edition streets).

Mine arrived accompanied with the Amicus Box Set I purchased from them. Both in excellent condition.
Hope to do a double feature watching together with "Murder By Decree" (Jack vs Sherlock Holmes), [Anchor Bay dvd] which definitely needs a Blu release btw.

I watched both the Jack the Ripper film and the Amicus box set last weekend. While I enjoyed them, my only gripe was no restoration work has been done on any of them. Every scratch, warts and all is there to see. They are proper HD but it's like they must have paid a fortune in rights and had no money left to restore them. You know when you see those features on restoration before and after, well this is the before and we didn't get the afters. Maybe Arrow or MOC will take up the mantle and do a proper restoration.
