It's worth keeping the above mind when ordering ANYTHING from the UK up until new year :) (remember this is royal mail just trying to stop people posting all last minute)

Some of those dates are ridiculous. Are they really saying it can take months for parcels posted in Sept/Oct to reach certain destinations?

They are over estimating them dates on non tracked even at busy times at christmas its never that long normally a extra week or so
 
Unless you're sending something worth a lot (hundreds $) the only real cheaper priced methods are either Airsure or International Tracked and it depends on what tracking you require. International tracked is scanned at more points and is easier to pinpoint on tracking but there is no confirmation of delivery. Airsure is only tracked in a few places but there is confirmation of delivery.

After that, its only the expensive options such as Parcelforce, Fedex, UPS, etc which for a few steels is not worth it considering the price difference, imo.
