Once again Hollywood will be trying to capitalize on an already existing AWESOME foreign horror movie with their remake of "Let the Right One In" titled "Let Me In". I remember hearing about this around the time of the original's release on Blu-ray and I was very pissed off. Why the hell can't Hollywood come up with some great ideas of their own, haha. Anyway, I was totally against seeing the new one but since seeing the main character wearing a KISS shirt in the trailer I've kinda changed my mind. Problem is I am such a huge fan of the original (I'd consider it one of my top 5 movies of all time, not just horror) that I think I will be quite biased towards "Let Me In". I guess we will have to wait and see.

This new one looks tight, I saw the original its good too ... I bought it from bumpy here.

OK, so there WAS allot of interest to see this movie but no comments afterwards.

I finally got around to watching this last night and while it was a pretty good movie I have to say for me it doesn't come close to the original. The original had allot more atmosphere I think. It's hard to describe. I just liked the gritty look of the Swedish one more I guess. Hollywood also added more nastiness to it which i didn't think the film needed. And my biggest gripe about the whole thing was the CGI used in the little girl's attack sequences. WTF. there just wasn't any need for it and the original proved that. If you haven't seen the original I know I would prolly have loved this flick simply for the story. I mentioned that last night a couple times while I was watching Let Me In. It is a fantastic story and it's hard to frig up a movie when it's got that. I would still recommend you see this if you haven't. I'm interested to know what others think.
