@Wreck it did end at like $680 so you may have had to go to like $740 for it to win. The girl who won it seemed committed.

I just didn't understand the whole thing of it being a silent auction. cause at the end they turned it into a regular auction by having people bid, that just seems counter to what a silent auction is

Yeah I thought it was just who was last ... but then that does make for weird for those trying to battle at the end ....and it all went to a good cause so tis' all good.
