Hey International members Including Canada!

I'm hosting a group buy for any of you people out there that are interested in the Star Trek: Into Darkness (Blu-ray SteelBook)+bonus (Walmart Exclusive)[USA]. The Steelbook comes with a exclusive Hot Wheels 1:50 scale model of the villain ship, DVD and Digital Copy, it DOES NOT include the 3d version of the film.

Cost will be $47.00 each to cover shipping from Walmart.com, Sales Tax, group buy fees....and bubble wrap and other packaging.
The price of the Steelbook set includes everything, except for the paypal fees and the shipping costs.

The problem with a UK hub is that single packages marked as gift would probably get through customs without a hitch but sending a few together would more than likely be hit.

Which means any advantage saved in shipping cost would be removed with customs duty and admin charges !

Edit: maybe we could work out the difference once we have an idea of shipping cost per unit ?

wrong, it cost about 80.00 us for shipping about 21 steels to the UK, customs was around another 30-40 US. 110-130.00 and @ 3.00 each to ship from UK 63.00. for 21 steels to be shipped individually to UK at 14.90 US, that's 312.90 US. so you are looking at 173-193.00 as apposed to 312.90

How much were the steels ?

VAT in the UK is 20% so working on $40 per steel that's $8 for VAT + Any admin costs which means about £6 for each + shipping cost to the UK.

I would think these will cost more to ship either individually or as a large shipment then the cost of shipping once in the UK is far more than $3, I would guess £7 = $10.60.

So we are talking £13 = $19.70 + the bulk shipping cost.

As I said though we need to see how much they will cost to ship individually or bulk before we can really work it out ?

Edit: this is also assuming they charge the full amount for customs per steelbook, I guess if they were marked at a lower value then it would be less ?
