    :(

One of the masters of terror has passed away. Truly depressing news. He was 76 and died after a long battle with brain cancer.

R.I.P. to one of the absolute best.

Damn, that's crappy news! I didn't know he had brain cancer. He won't be forgotten, that's for sure. RIP.

And they had just introduced a new way of tackling brain cancer and it had been on the BBC news only the other day. I had no idea he was as old as 76.

Im so gutted to hear of Wes's death. It really shocked me as I'm a massive fan of his work. My favourite film is A Nightmare On Elm Street and he's genius will be sorely missed my movie fans all over the world!! As a mark of respect i will be changing my avatar to something more suitable.

    R I P WES!

(Maybe as a sign of respect others can change their avatar, just for a day or two to reflect Wes's passing! Just an idea)

Ben Bishop (who HDN interviewed last March here) put together this quick-yet-awesome piece of Scream art after hearing of Craven's death. I thought I'd share it here.
