Great film but this was an early Blu-Ray release and as I recall the transfer was mediocre at best.

Could still be an awesome steelbook though

The original release did get poor reviews for PQ, hopefully this will be a new transfer though it is very doubtful. We can always hope

You're right, my mistake. I'd assumed the UK blu-ray version was the theatrical cut because it's never described or listed as the Director's Cut, even though it actually is. Strange that...

Ahh yes. One of my all time favorites. Cant wait. Probably the only good thing about the remake of this movie is that it most likely spurred this steel release.
