Wreck is that your stand display, it looks like it's made from plexiglass? Did the guy that makes those steelbook stands make that too? If so those would sell like hot cakes at the HDN store.

Haha. No guys not my display. I know of it... Its acrylic. It's also so expensive you should all just forget about it. It's definitely awesome and hopefully it will appear again at future events. It's definitely amazing. I hear it weighs over 150 pounds!

I also stopped by Mondo at sdcc and saw this. They did say they want to work with the studios to do more releases in the USA.

I asked about embossing/debossing. They said that they always looked for the best treatment for the steelbook in compliments toward the artwork example was Pan's Labyrinth's silkscreen effect. Emboss/deboss would've been cheaper but the silkscreen was just an better option that works with the artwork.
