just received it!! nice set... also in the last page ofthe booklet says that

"The comedy of terrors" and "The haunted palace" (both with Vincent Price_ are coming soon from Arrow

Its a nice Box set but the Box to hold the contents is cheap cardboard very easy to damage or arrive damaged


I would like Arrow Video to use a lot stronger and harder cardboard for their box sets

Zavvi shipped this to me in a Mail Lite Jiffy Padded Envelope
Mine arrived with a crease on the top of the box set

shame about the damage though.

that's why i ordered a second copy from amazon.co.uk just to be safe, after my order from arrow is still not sent out - maybe an error in the warehouse, or maybe they sold more than they had in stock...
i hope i get at least 1 of them without any damages to the slipcover.

I've bought stuff from arrow in the past & their packaging isn't the best mainly jiffy envelopes resulting in dented corners for box sets or slipcovers.

Paul I would give there CS an email to see if you can return it for free & get a replacement.

I try to avoid zavvi for boxsets,there packaging is poor at the best of times.

I contacted both Zavvi and Arrow Video

Zavvi offered me 10% Refund
I have sent them a reply and also I have requested them to uses boxes with quality protection to send box sets to customers
I also brought up about their packaging with steelbooks and I'm awaiting their reply

Arrow Video sent me this reply
Hi Paul, really sorry to see that your copy arrived damaged. We would suggest that you contact Zavvi direct to let them know as well as they should be able to help you obtain another copy. We will also get in touch with them in relation to packaging.
