The Amazon.co.uk site says that this is a 3D disc and therefore requires a 3D capable TV, 3d Blu-ray player and the correct glasses to view. I think there is a strong possibility that Amazon have got this wrong and that it is really just the old version of 3D with the red & blue glasses. The old version, would I believe be pretty complicated to convert into the modern process, unless of course Universal still have the set of 2 original negatives for the left and right eye information. I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think it would be included just as an extra on the disc and only charge £10.49 for the disc.

Watched this last night! To confirm this is a modern 3D presentation and not the old red and blue glasses style! The 3D transfer is wonderful and the black & white 3D is striking, with images appearing much nearer than in some of the modern colour features.

I will confirm the 3D was awesome

more of a depth perception versus eye popping effects out of the screen

This one one of the best 3d releases I have seen and way better than most of the newer movies even those shot in true 3d

Have to agree some of the best 3d I've seen, works really well! Got this in the Universal Monsters box, well worth getting.
