Don't object to re-releases in general . . . particularly when like this in a group of 13 (unlucky for some) all in the same style - in this case simple but not too simple imagery - unlike the recentish too simple Fox Pop Art collection of 10 titles - this time each with a defining prop from the film on the front. and all in pretty colours.
Closest we have to a collection of steelbooks with nicely coloured spines in the UK has got to be the Studio Ghiblis.
Would prefer films new to steelbooks if given the choice . . . but can see these cheap and cheerful sets as an ideal starting point for collectors just getting into the hobby or even as attractive one-off gifts.
Also, it should be considered that attracting new collectors is essential to keeping the production of steelbooks going and who's to say that new collectors will not gravitate from these basic art steelbooks to premium editions in the future . . .

As with the SPECTRE Bond steelbook collection HMV had the exact same images as their Amaray art.
. . . and don't know why I didn't spot it immediately as appears to be the same thing going on here w/ images already used on another HMV Amaray slipcover collection - this time the Iconic Moments collection . . . some notable absences though including THE MATRIX, 300, BEN-HUR, EMPIRE OF THE SIN, GREMLINS and FULL METAL JACKET. Others from the HMV range not (yet) announced as steelbooks.

After seing @C.C. 95 's cool artworks, I could not resist making this using the HMV Iconic collection artwork from Seven
Good to see WB getting in on the game with this wave of 13 . . . joining Fox with their wave of 10 . . . and Paramount with their wave of 16.
Thinking that these "Iconic Moments" or "Moments Emblématiques" steelbooks could look very fine indeed if treated right . . .
. . . with colours almost as lovely as the recent Fox wave - love the colours but unfortunately that wave not pressing my buttons due to the over-simplistic silhouette style artwork

The central positioning of the artwork on each is surely perfect for some stunning embossing within a framed border as seen on the recent THE GAME steelbook (yes, different studio/distributor but that's the image that comes to mind when I look at this new collection).

Only other thing worth mentioning about this new WB collection -
As different as chalk and cheese to at least two of the previous WB collections that we've had in the UK . . . the two worth mentioning being the Original Poster Series of 10 classic titles from Jan. 2013 and the Premium Collection of 11 titles from Nov. 2012:-
