I like the looks of this especially the back artwork, after taking some updated pictures of my play.com one I was only thinking when will we see some more release's of the Terminator films. You never know Zavvi may announce this soon or even announce T1, T2, T3 and Salvation steelbooks's soon with Genisys coming soon. But untill then I'll be keeping my eye on this.

I think zavvi will release Terminator steelbooks. Fast and the furious, and Jurassic Park new movies are coming up this summer and zavvi is releasing the last movies on steelbooks.
I will not be suprise if Zavvi will release Mad Max steelbooks

Am i the only here who think this artwork is the least one of all the T1 Steelbooks?
As of right now, i would say yes. We all want a single company to release all Terminator steels where they all look similar and be made into a set. There are times i am sick of when a company comes out with a single release and does nothing with the rest of the series.

I agree with you, i would like to get the whole set from the same company. But i want the original artwork or something made by talented artist.

I would say the play version is still the best but this is nice and kind of matches Terminator 2 and that's really cool inside artwork. I have to say I'm tempted, Terminator is still one of my favorite movies, I would not mind more than one steelbook version.

A uniform series of Terminator Steelbooks would be welcome but is unlikely to happen due to the number of different studios holding the respective distribution rights.

"The Terminator" (MGM-Fox)
"Terminator 2: Judgement Day" (Studio Canal/Lionsgate)
"Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (Sony/ Warner)
"Terminator Salvation" (Sony/Warner)
"Terminator Genisys" (Paramount)

Whilst it is not beyond the realms of possibility that one studio could licence the rights to the other titles from the other distributors, as has happened with previous Terminator anthology releases from Sony and Warner, the recent entry of Paramount into the franchise, with its proposed new trilogy, has muddied the waters and probably makes this even less likely.

This is the ugliest Terminator 1 Cover I ever ses.

Wow only Arnies head and a black and white filtern on it. very creative. Further no original title font.

It would be so cool, if they make a modern version of the original posterartwork:

Or a drawing like Shout/Scream Factory did for their releases:
