ok ... now that is looking damn good. So much better no longer fat face, fat nose. But I'm not a huge fan of the big bags under his eyes ... if it was a tad bit less it'd be better. But after paint apps on the run then it might be a bit less on final product.

Man it would be nice to get this but then I would feel that I would have to complete this diorama by getting all seven of the Hall of Armors and then spend ridiculous prices and effort trying to obtain all the armor classes from I-VI.

That's a lot of money. I'll just stick to the new lineup with the Diecast and power pose series. Still a lot of money but at least I won't be paying extortionary prices for the armor classes.

+1

Get this piece is only to complete the diorama... if only I would have gotten into this before... ah boy.... no way I'll spend 500$ for each figure EEK!

I missed out on the Tony Stark Mech Test version so will be getting this for sure.
I've already got most of the other suits so already half way there :D

they are remaking a lot of suits in diecast ... so technically you could still get this and then follow along with that ....

Avengers & Tony Stark

My first Hot Toys were the "marvel-eous" Avengers. But I couldn't resist this awesome set of Tony Stark - a little less armour for once. Didn't have room for the whole platform, so made do with the space I had.

Finally got this. Great figure, probably the definitive HT Tony Stark so far. That being said, I can't get over the fact that the base is most definitely not 1/6 scale. The steps and central platform seem WAY too small. Has anyone else noticed this?
