Unforgiven (許されざる者 Yurusarezaru Mono?) is a 2013 Japanese jidaigeki film directed by Lee Sang-il. It is a remake of Clint Eastwood's 1992 western Unforgiven. The film was screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival

Man it is sad that it doesn't have English subs.
I'd buy in a heartbeat.

Hmm very interesting. I just wish they gave it a twist, made it as chanbara film (samurai sword fighting) rather than a western style (with guns). Just like what John Sturges did with The Magnificent Seven (western style) remake of Seven Samurai.
