This will be MADE to work. Basicly reading between the lines same events different setting .

Me personally I think that time should be spent on the series they have . Not jump to something that could just could bring an end to the first show.

I just watched the Ep from series 3 where Rick meets back up with Morgan that is what series 4 needs to get back to .

Not thire camp is bigger than my camp .

HOWEVER

I can see some half assed CDC cross E.R doctors nurses army crossover thing . At the end of series one the last episode I bet they expand that into a pre pandemic thing .

It might be a story that follows the characters Ben, Barbra and five others trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania which is attacked by living deads. Oh wait...

Maybe it takes place in Aurora. Nothing ever happens in Aurora so they don't even know about the zombie outbreak.
