What kind of computer did you fist use at home, and how did the makes and models progress over the years?

I'll get the ball rolling....

I bought a ready built Sinclair ZX81 in.... 1981, B&W, silent, "bubble" keyboard, 4k of ram, programs saved to casette.
Next I had a Sinclair Spectrum - colour, sound, 16k of ram.
Then an Atari 800, plug in ram boards, real keyboard, floppy disc drive.
Later an Atari ST, proper monitor, can't remember how much ram!
Finally my first proper Windows PC in 1992!
Now we have, a tower PC, a laptop and a netbook. inc. things such as 1.5TB hard drive, wifi printer, etc etc.

What about you?

My first was an Itautec an uncle of mine gave me and my brother back in the day. Can't even remember the model. All I know it had a nice car game that was somehow like Enduro.

I wanted a ZX Spectrum or a Commodore 64 but my Dad decided he knew best and bought a Commodore Plus 4 which used the same language as the shonky C16 :-/
Still I know work in IT so something must have stuck ;-p

Commodore, dad got a shoe box full of games on floppies shortly after from a guy, never did get all the way through them all. Then 386/486/P90 then the upgrade after that, pretty much every generation of processor made. Upgrade WAY to often.

Good times!!:D
