Little known piece of trivia: there was a script for a Judge Dredd film back in the early '80's but the script was changed so many times that the script was eventually turned into the first Robocop film script and the Judge Dredd film was shelved.

Thank this post (to show you read and agreed to the terms) and share some trivia about this iconic character below.

One post/entry per person. The winner is responsible for paying for his/her own shipping. The packaging material will be donated by Apollon.

Please note that since I will be traveling during Ninja Week up until the end of March, the prizes will start shipping once I'm back, i.e. end of March.

Dredd was criticized for being too similar to Indonesian film titled "The Raid" but Dredd actually developed almost half a decade earlier before.

EPIC Give-Away @Apollon

The Lawgiver sidearms that the Judges carry are Glock 17 pistols with some cosmetic additions. Glock 17 is a handgun popular with real life law enforcement officers.

Legend has it, the Batman/Dredd crossover comics almost never happened. And all because DC had made a corporate decision in '91 that there would be no Batman crossover comics released in 1992 on the strength of Batman Returns releasing that year. It took many sleepless nights for artist Simon Bisley to squeak out the finished work in time for a 1991 release of Judgement on Gotham.

Thanks for the giveaway! :D
