The original was by far superior than the remake. HOWEVER. The remake was far superior to all the original's sequels.

Funny fact (for me) I asked out a girl to the cinema to see this, the original and was frustrated as hell because it was heavily censored. My mood was spoiled and she also wanted my candy. A really really bad day!

the orignal had a better story

The original has soul in the film. Great script, nice special effects and humor in the background.
I liked the emotional connection in this film, that was not present in 2014 version.

2014 version had great cast, but this was not used in the propper way that it should.
However i liked the concept of his armor upgrade during the film.
