I will try to ignore the instigating posts and not respond to the same dimwits again but all packages should have been shipped. I need all payments from members before I can ask Nova to ship.

I have been burnt enough with shipping first and not getting shipping fees paid. For this particular title everyone except one person has paid the shipping fees so needless to say they have all been shipped except that one parcel.

I thought people were just given a couple of days to pay then lose their slot/soul. Allowing another hungry Ninja to pounce on the opportunity so the machine keeps happily rolling.

You should know by now how GBs work on HDN :p ...or were you joking and I didn’t get it !? :bag:

For Direct Shipping (shipping fees to be paid later)
once you have secured your GB copy by paying for it, you then are still committed for the shipping charges to come. You should have the money set aside for those shipping charges which you know are coming after the GB.

I don’t get it, if you have already paid for your copy, why wait and not pay for it to be shipped to you ? :dunno:

No, I'm fine,, (except for other realities)
You misunderstand me,
Just a comment in general -

I just opened my boxset and this is a True Beauty  Everything about it is Stunning. The Spot Gloss on the 1917 embossed see through Title for the Fullslip edition is not over the top, Simply Tasteful. Very Clever the see through touch on the 1917 title. The Full Slip has a nice Matte Finish and feels nicely soft to touch. The Lenticular has a very nice FULL transitional Effect. The Steelbook will be for me one of the best Steelbook this year even though it is early in the year.

This is one of my Favorite movie of all time and Nova did justice to it. Even though we have seen many time those artworks, they are elevated on these editions :emb:

I did purchase 2 UHD Disks and swapped them in the 1/4 Slip and for the Fullslip. The Disk Artwork on the UHD works nicer in these editions IMO. I left the Nova Blu-ray Custom Disk Artwork in the Lenticular edition as it suits it better.

1917 4K UHD Review

1917 was captured digitally in the ARRIRAW codec (at 4.5K) using the Arri Alexa Mini LF camera (newly made and the smallest available with a large format sensor) with Arri Signature Prime lenses. It was finished as a native 4K digital intermediate at the 2.39:1 aspect ratio (1.90 for IMAX presentation, not included here) and graded for high dynamic range (Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+ are all available here). The Ultra HD image is—in a word—spectacular, but it reveals its virtues by degree and over time. The film’s color palette is strongly muted, as you might expect of a WWI film—much of it takes place under overcast skies, in muddy trenches, or on gloomy battlefields. But the sheer variety and shadings of gray, blue, brown, khaki, and the odd splashes of green or dark red are remarkable. This is a film grounded in texture—mud, dirt, wool, leather, canvas, tin, brass—and the refinement of each is impressive. Shadows are deeply black, but never lack for detail, while the highlights are oppressively gloomy. The film’s nighttime scenes, set in the bombed out village of Écoust-Saint-Mein, are remarkable studies in light and shadow, always in motion for being lit by soaring aerial flares or building fires. There’s a bit of banding visible in the monotone skies in HDR10, particularly when Schofeld and Blake first cross No Man’s Land, but the extra two bits of Dolby Vision cleans this up nicely. In any case, this is very close to a reference quality 4K image, but not a showy one. It’s a symphony of subtleties infused with breathtaking moments of stark beauty.
