This is the problem with pre-orders on GBs as I've gone for the fullslip and I hate the holofoil finish on it, makes it seem like its Brokeback Mountain.... It just needed some texture and spot gloss, keep it simple. Will just store the slip and display the steel

I've got tonnes of holofoil slips, I love it on the Avengers and John Wick releases, just don't think it suits this design since it's mainly greyscale type colours. Seems forced and completely useless on this design and they've used it just for the sake of using it.

I really don’t know mate. I personally don’t think it’s anything great but some seem to love it. But a lot of nova does come back sometimes so who knows.

not sure if the shipping has changed from $13.96 since the parasite pre order but you also get a discount on nova depending on your level of customer discount. Although I’ve not been stung by customs yet with these new VAT issues I suppose it’s something to take in account when ordering now. Im being extremely picky now anyway because of all this.

Yeah mate, it’s the customs that I seem to be falling foul of more frequently these days. I have become a lot more choosy with my purchases of late.

Listen, my people, General Patton never, ever, I say, never, ever would have approved of holofoil being used on any movie having to do with the military. The good General was alive in 1917 and if he could, he would tell you it was not a holofoil-type of period in history. Decades of turmoil were still to come. He is probably wanting to roll over in his grave but he no longer has anything to roll over with.

But I agree, the holofoil don’t really suit this film. But it’s not too bad though, If anything (for me) it’s improved the art

I don't mind the holofoil, if it were only used for films that 'suit' it we'd only ever see it on premium editions of Trolls and Trolls World Tour

I really like holofoil when it's used in a certain way. It looks okay here, and it's not exactly in your face. Personally though it doesn't suit the film or the slip, so it's a bit unnecessary.

The manta lab fullslips for Man of Steel and Ex Machina however are beautiful holofoil slips imo, and I love them

I think it looks good....it´s a transitional lenti, what did you expect? It was obvious that transition effect won´t be complete until the other image start to show up, it never is the case. And Im the one who dislike most of transition lentis but in this case I kind of like it, the 1917 is still there in the background, always a bit visible, I like the idea

FAC have produced Total Flip flop Transitional Lenticulars, it can be done !
But still is a nice edition. Great Package overall.
Not crazy usually about Holofoil, but from the video it's not bad.
