If I remember well, she was part of the Episode II & III in-between tv show Star Wars: Clone Wars presented on Cartoon Network (that also introduced General Grievous).

Yeah, that was a deleted scene. There were a few ways they were going to kill her for EPIII like as seen above, Anakin killing her, and her dying aboard the ship Anakin and Kenobi got on to rescue Palpatine. I'm glad they didn't though; otherwise, she wouldn't have been in TFU.
