nah it's volcanoid - a virtual idol character/music software thing which is really popular with teenage girls & young women in Japan. Lots of US and EU girls like Miku too. There are a ton of games on PS3, PSP and Vita also

not gonna argue with a Japanese member lol and heh yeah totally forgot about those lonely male otakus

i only know of miku through the games and here in the EU & US most of the fans tend to be female i think, though i guess male fans of "moe" Japanese media might like miku too? i thought those guys were more into things like idolmaster though
