zavvi just need space in there warehouse, nothing to do with fair prices. wonder if they even make profit out of it, it's still a disney flick.

Rip off price at Amazon.de. The Zavvi version is available for half this price.

I disagree. Initial offer price is less than £1 above what Zavvi initially offered this. We know it is cheaper now. That doesn't make it a rip off price. It is quite possible the price may drop before release making it even cheaper than the initial Zavvi pre order price.

£1 above a price that Zavvi have been regularly criticised for charging on catalogue titles

So what's your point ???

My point is that it isn't a good price. I'm pretty sure that you're one of the people who criticise Zavvi for charging the prices they do. Then again you do love German Steelbooks for some odd reason even though the vast majority are poor, so it's no surprise you're defending a German release here.

I have often defended their pricing on steelbooks as I argued play didn't make a profit at £9.99. This was comparing the initial offer price granted exchange rates make it a little higher at the moment. If you have anything that contradicts what I said, I welcome it.

Initial Zavvi offer / pre order price was basically £15
Amazon offer / pre order price is Currently £15.64 based on current exchange rates

Don't bring you uneducated belief of what I like based on my like for lenticulars. The UK has about the same number of steels in my collection. I import so am not really tied to collecting mostly from one country. Besides, I don't even like this title as a steelbook

To be honest, the contents of your collection is irrelevant. This Steelbook is overpriced, fact. If you choose to ignore that based on your love for German Steelbooks because you prefer German editions as they don't skimp on content, well that is up to you. Zavvi are constantly criticised for overpricing their exclusives, in reality they offer by far the best value for money when it comes to catalogue titles. The German lenticulars are nice, but the fact is that the French versions are now better and potential UK releases would blow them away.
