It should be mentioned that M6 Vidéo did Looper's lenticular steelbook, which has a printed back & no inside art — no inside art for the UK steel or Spanish steel (which has a printed back too) either, contrary to the Futureshop's Looper (big quote printed on the back though).

BUT M6 Vidéo gave an amazing lenticular card to that Looper steelbook  (which probably costs a lot more to produce than inside art, but anyway).

I'm not too hopeful for a lenticular on this one, it doesn't seem to suit a straight-up actioner, but we shall see. Haven't seen Escape Plan, and I'm not sure if there's any rewatch value with a concept like this in an average film (according to critics), so since it's neither an amazon.fr/FNAC/Auchan/Espace Culturel Leclerc exclusive nor a must-see, I'll wait for it to drop to €14.98 — unless I watch the film until then and find it surprisingly good.

Thanks for the info, Empereur Mégalo :D.

On a side note, it's the twelvth steelbook announced so far for France in 2014, after the following ;) :

  1. Riddick (18th January - FNAC exclusive) - There will also be an HMV version (same initial art).
  2. Machete Kills (3rd February - widespread release) - There will also be a Zavvi version (different art).
  3. Robocop (5th February - widespread release) - There will also be a UK version (same art).
  4. Crying Freeman (10th February - widespread release). No other steelbook edition announced.
  5. Inside Llewn Davis (11th February - widespread release). No other steelbook edition announced.
  6. Turbo (14th February - widespread release) - 3D, prob. lenticular. No other steelbook edition announced.
  7. Malavita (5th March - widespread release). No other steelbook edition announced.
  8. Quai d'Orsay (12th March - widespread release). No other steelbook edition announced.
  9. Captain Phillips (20th March - FNAC only). There'll also be UK, DE, CA, CZ and KR versions (same art).
  10. Snowpiercer (26th March - widespread release). No other steelbook edition announced.
  11. Frozen (April - 3D - FNAC exclusive). There will also be a Zavvi version (different art).

This is an excellent film and definatly worth owning. An english version would be better. failing that, this version would be cool to own!

Great film and unfairly ignored at the UK and US box offices where it crashed and burned - did gangbusters in China though, bought in 40 million over there and did over 100 million worldwide in total - with only 20 million of that coming from the US. Good to see some parts of the world have good taste - lol
