It was 24 Euro when I pre-ordered. It must be a rather popular pre-order item.

Just glad I got my order in when I did. I don't ever recall it seeing it at €24 online at all, though. It would've been a steal once the VAT came off!
Mine came out to €24.79 + €9.00 shipping to Canada = €33.79.
Perhaps this will be as sought after as Kick-Ass 2 (which got lost in the mail during the holidays
), it would explain the price increase. Would love to see what the final price will be on amazon.de, MediaMarkt and Saturn.Cheers!

I didn't mean €24 precisely.
I just took a quick look on amazon de since I was in a hurry and the first two numbers I saw were €24. It's actually €24.79 as you said.So €24.79 x 2 + €9.00 shipping to Australia = €58.58. So it's about €29.29 each, which is still about €10 less than the price they're charging now.
so it started at 35€, dropped to 30€, and now increase to 40€.
Maybe next time it will drop to 20€

When this thread first went live, it started at around 35. I dont know if it was less than that before it was announced here, but from we've seen that's what the prices was.
Ah, then it must have gone way down to 24 when the artwork came out then. Because that's when I pre-ordered and got it at that price. Strange choice.

So about a month after the UK edition...I have the UK amazon lenticular pre ordered as well as this version, may keep the amaray order, watch & then sell.
Then look forward to this beauty arriving, €33 ain't bad for what looks like a gorgeous limited imported steel!
