They did come out of hiding for their four Hobbit steelbooks, including the lenticular one. Otherwise, I think their last steelbook was The Dark Knight Rises in December 2012.

Though M6 Video, which I think is part of the Warner Bros. France group, filled the void in some way, with Ghost Rider 2, Underworld 4, Olympus Has Fallen, Maniac, Escape Plan and especially Looper.

the bluebanner's back on WB french steelbooks
did it ever leave? :hilarious:
It keeps getting bigger too :p

There you go, snarky boys :D :sniper: :

And it's a tentative artwork, it doesn't mean it will be the one Apsmith posted.

And technically the blue banner left a while ago - the following pic also includes the Ben Hur and the Dredd (glossorama) tins :

They may be G1 but they look quite nice together on a shelf, I tell you ;). Except Sherlock Holmes, they all have inside art + clean back, and J. Edgar & Dark Shadows are glossy.

For some reason I think this will be the same art as the German steelbook and the inevitable UK release (the WB steelbooks usually are almost identical from one country to another, that would mean G2 for this one).

^^ i duuno man.. it flopped i think ..i reckon there will only be few of these. Just hope i like one of em :)

With it being Warner there's a good chance of quite a few releases, especially if its anything like the first release! I'm not sure how well it did, it looked decent from the clips I have seen. I would have preffered Zack Snyder to have directed it though. Maybe if it flopped bad they will want to recoup some of there costs with Disc sales.
