I've always wanted the Kotobukiya Iron Man Mk II but never got around to buying it. Prices on eBay are close to what the price of the Mark 42 maquette is! I'd rather get this instead.

Can't get over the fact they are using the gantry as base when we NEVER see that in the movie...

Agreed on both points. They never, ever used the gantry for the Mark II.

Yes and no...
when he gets "assembled", you can see that the gantry does the job... BUT we never see him remove the suit...


So... yeah... we can all assume he use the gantry to get assembled and also to remove it, but since we don't actually see it in the movie, it's a big no for me!
