$98 Magnavox Blu-ray Player @ Walmart *YMMV*

Wal-Mart has just lowered the price on the Magnavox NB530MGX Blu-ray player. The new price is $98, which is a rollback from the previous price of $168. This is the same model player that was sold on Fathers Day weekend for $128.

Normally we would steer people clear of the low end Blu-ray players, but at this price we can’t think of a single reason not to buy one. You can buy 3 of these players for the price Wal-Mart is charging for the Sony BDP-S360!

Does this price tempt you to pick up a second Blu-ray player for the bedroom?

nope, that price still doesn't tempt me. I only want really good blu ray players. To me, that';s the equivalent of buying a Coby dvd player. sure it plays dvds, but but whatever.

If it doesnt look like crap then it dont bother me. I like magnavox and could care less of BD-Live for the bedroom. Although, with a 2nd ps3 I just cant merit a purchase right now.
