Got my US set from Amazon and guess what... Even when packaged bomb proof, you'll find the set with a scratch on the top through the seal and on the case. HOW Amazon, HOW?!?!?!
One word: „PROFESSIONALISM”! (sarcasm :naughty:)

Eight (or so) words: Amazon don't give a sh!t on our purchases!

I'm so feed up of getting ALL THE TIME SteelBooks damaged BEFORE shipping.

This one was between other SteelBooks, which were all OK, but this one....

That isn't Amazon's fault. A lot of, if not most of the sets have the same scratches in the same spot on top of the case. Some are under the sealed shrink-wrap. Some are in the same spot with the shrink-wrap cut as well.

Thanks! Its mostly custom made and it has three different heads. I really like adding the characters on display with steelbooks and premiums
Oh, so it's not something one can buy somewhere? Even for $400?
I thought it was a Sideshow figure or something...

Bro that figure is awesome! I have the NECA figures which are really cool and come with some great accessories, plus a replica of the first bladed glove

Not really no but you can hunt down the parts to make one its a sideshow body and clothing btw. Here is a breakdown and the costs +/-

Sideshow figure - €200
Iretans Studio heads €150 each
Iretans Studio syringe hands - €140
Display stand from ebay €35
Metal/leather glove €90
Neca puppet and house €15

But i had a good bundle deal for my second purchase with Iretans studio. In the end i spend roughly €750 on this piece. Custom 1/6 figures are expensive but man this guy is still worth every penny to me. Hope its oke to share some more pictures of him.

Oh the skull i actually had from a older monster figure 25years ago when i was a kid. And to my suprise its almost the exact same skull like one on the promo photos from Dream warriors lol

What was i thinking to forget showing the metal/leather glove its really badass. Together with the steelbook set it makes up for one hell of a display. I do like how this set came out overall regardless the matte finish i think it fits the steelbooks in a nice way. And the transfer are just mindblowing good and beyond i could wish for. I am now on part 4 and you can see they're getting better and better on the quality part. Having a blast revisiting the series, enjoy folks!

I got the uk version and casing is badly damaged don’t even know if steels are ok and retailer is not interested in sorting it out, I have never done a chargeback and no idea how long it takes but I had to or don’t even know if will be successful.
Item is still sealed at present and honestly I’m really gutted you have no idea as this was one edition I did not want issues with.
And I just can’t believe retailer has no interest in helping me. Are they doing more of these sets the uk version as I have to get a mint new copy and see what happens with damaged one.

To be honest it’s stress me out the hassle I’m having over my damaged one and a chargeback better be successful otherwise I be annoyed.
If anyone knows of uk edition available that sent overseas let me know. I know of a place but that place is not doing anything about my damaged one and eventually I’m going to name and shame them all over social media it will hurt them, and I told them this and still did not care

Chargeback is to some degree instant. They reverse the charge when you call, but it doesn’t become permanent until the vendor has responded or if they don’t respond after a month or 2.

IME, Discover is the best on these issues, but Visa and MC have gotten better over the years, but discover allowed the entire thing to be done over the phone at least 10 years before visa/MC cards (that I had) did. V/MC would take it over the phone, but wouldn’t start doing anything until you filled paperwork they’d send you and return it. It was dumb, because the paper was literally the same things that you discussed over the phone.

It’s one reason I’ve been loyal to Discover for as long as I can remember.

Out of curiosity – how did it get damaged? Mine was shipped from Zavvi in a sturdy Warner brothers box inside another box.
The outer box took a pounding - but the inside Warner Bros. box saved it.

BTW- I LOVE that WB has taken it upon themselves to have their own boxes.

BTW- I LOVE that WB has taken it upon themselves to have their own boxes.
It's my favorite of all the major companies, not just because of my childhood obsession with Warner clothing stores, but them releasing their movies in all kinds of fun collector forms – digibooks, digipacks, with photocards, large format photobooks, etc. So it makes sense they're the ones that decided to protect their steel editions with proprietary boxes!
