Out of curiosity – how did it get damaged? Mine was shipped from Zavvi in a sturdy Warner brothers box inside another box.
The outer box took a pounding - but the inside Warner Bros. box saved it.

BTW- I LOVE that WB has taken it upon themselves to have their own boxes.
I did originally have my order with zavvi and I seen many getting there ones sent out, and started to wonder are they going to cancel mine.
Not only that I watch a guy inboxing his from hmv who had damage to is outer cardboard box but it never touched his ie got near white box, but he said he heard a lot of zavvi orders was getting damaged as being sent in a plastic bag.
When I heard about damages and personally I know they send in plastic bags as my Connery sent was sent to Australia in a plastic bag yet still sealed never seen any damage to it.
But the plastic bag again on this put me off from zavvi and hearing damages was also enough, in fact my order was cheaper having pre ordered as the exchange rate had gone up so by time it was released my order was going to cost me less. But I still cancelled it.
Weird thing is I gets a message from them trying to get payment for it and another edition even though i cancelled it but it says on my account cancellation pending so it had not really cancelled even though I had.
This was days ago now and I never paid or reordered it, as Zavvi on this shows out of stock.
So maybe it was more the other item I had ordered but I also at this time did not wish to get.
But mine was sent ups express was boxed yet it had a gouge in the cardboard box that you could two fingers through sort of looked half decent box. It must have been whatever that caused that hole to push against that white box not making a hole in the white box but must have been a lot of weight or pressure to damage the steel casing it got damaged on the back top middle where I think it be the next of Fred jumper and it’s also damaged same area on top but they are sizeable damages.
I intended to keep sealed until I see what comes of charge back but opened it as steels could have been affected but they are ok. So it was just the steel box itself.
The crazy thing is where the damage is on steel casing you could not be more unlucky it pushed in on the weakest part of the white box, I notice the white box is not all double wall protected and this area that got putting on white box did not really stop it from happening.
I just want to own a sealed mint no damage copy and see what happens with damaged one.
I could even keep the damaged one and get new slip boxes for it. I seen someone who is doing this who does not care for the steel box and I can have it but it’s not till January. This could make my copy new again or I can just get these slip boxes and it makes it into another different looking set.
Ideally I just wanted the one sealed none damaged set and I ain’t got that yet.

Could've just posted 1 pic of the damage instead...
Plus wrong thread, as this isn't the UK edition.
