A subtitler for our dvd/blu ray without our language

There is an idea, difficult idea.
How many times have you wanted to buy the film, but we did not because they lack the language of our country and even the subtitles?

Well, I was trying to think of how to make a "strip" to be placed under the TV that projects the subtitles of blu ray through an external source such as a USB stick where you would load the subtitle file.
How could you make such a machine?

During the film festival in Venice has been used just such a machine to project subtitles in Italian films in the original language, but the production house, the Sub-ti in London, told me that they do not produce equipment for the 'household.

How could you do? It would be a great solution for all of us!
Would allow us to buy all the versions we want!

Let's see if it comes up with some brilliant idea!

What I know about it is that there are some Blu-ray player models (Pioneer BDP-140 and 450, for example. There may be others) that you can install a custom firmware to allow external subtitles to be displayed from a USB stick. Even unlock it for every region and remove Cinavia protection.

I don't see this happening with an actual Blu-ray disc. You would need a player that is capable of playing MKV files where you can encode and impliment your own set of srt or sub files.

There are about a dozen sites out on the net that specialize in subtitles. Download a sub file from one and imbed it in your MKV file. That player that hiratafabio linked you to is capable of playing MKV files. There are also others that are capable of playing MKV files.

Isn't there a way to view a blu ray original and use an external device that projects the subtitles loaded from a usb device?

The only problem with that is that they derive from two different sources. The Blu-ray is one source and the USB that could hold other files and while plugged into the unit is a completely different source. I don't see any other way other than adding the subs to a movie file such as an MKV. I've downloaded MKV movie files that didn't have any subs and later found the mutching sub and remuxed the MKV file adding the sub to it.

my desire is to buy blu ray without sound and Italian sub and see subs under the tv. so i can buy all the blue ray and the original download of the sub
