..and I hope it contains the goods purchased, not another Schrodinger's

Gloss finish on the steelbook, but the white 'glow' behind Ace is bare metal. I have lots of micro scratches visible under certain light too. Only paid AU$50 so happy enough overall.

Here it's shown very briefly, but looks glossy with metallic shining through around the character photos on both sides:

Nice, I was expecting a disappointing matt finish! Will reserve judgement till someone does proper shots/video though

Would love to know where people get the idea that steelbooks are durable, it's understandable from people who haven't really handled any but there's no excuse here.

I’d just like to know if it the 4K disc is better encode than the North America release.
I’ve had very good luck buying from Imprint/ViaVision, but (at least with the discs I’ve bought, which were all big (read: popular) titles) the transfers have always been the same as other worldwide releases.

I bought their recent special edition of Dune (1984) which is gorgeous. Apart from different graphics on the menus, it’s indistinguishable from the Arrow release.

I like the steel, the duplication on the lenticular slip feels a little pointless but it's perfectly nice unfortunately the steel is scratched to buggery. There's so few decent shots of the steel I don't know if I'm just super lucky or if most of them were handled poorly before being packed.
