Because Rick seems to think that if this sells well there will be steel books for Luther and Peaky Blinders.... because obviously they're made by the same people.
Made by the same people ?
Zavvi don't make any steelbooks or do the artwork

All steelbooks from Amazon/Zavvi/Hmv/Zoom are offered to retailers by the distributors

If Luther or Peaky Blinders getting more steelbooks releases that will be decided by BBC Studios the distributor

I had done and Rick's post don't mention anything about Disney or BBC he was hoping Zavvi sell more steelbooks for Luther and Peaky Blinders other seasons ;)
It was you who got Rick's post misunderstood

It's your post my reply is about not Rick's post as in your quote made by the same people.

If you meant made by the same people to mean BBC you should have said that in the post ;)

Exactly. Rick assumes that Zavvi make the steels and that good sales on Agents will result in more Luther and Peaky which won't happen because Zavvi have no control over what BBC and Marvel do. There is no relationship at all between them.

Rick did not assume Zavvi make the steels

Rick was only posting if agents of shield steelbooks sell well they would give feedback for Luther and peaky blinders get steelbook releases of the other seasons.
As in Zavvi give feedback to the distributor.

If was you who brought up about BBC and Disney
Rick never mentioned BBC or Disney ;)

I doubt though Luther or Peaky Blinders will get steelbook releases of the other seasons as they struggled to sell and ended up having huge price drops

I'm more concerned at the moment Zavvi shipping recent steelbooks out in cardboard mailers

So explain how Agents sales impact on Luther and Peaky? That's like me saying strong sales in Marmite will make it likely that paddling pool sales will also increase. Makes perfect sense doesn't it.

Rick posted simply as agents of shields are also TV series releases he like to see Luther and peaky blinders other seasons get steelbooks that's all
You are reading to much into his post

And you should know better and not support such a simplistic view of the industry.

Zavvi better get back to using proper steelbook packaging

I got delivery this morning of Season 1
It's destroyed because they shipped in basic A1 Cardboard Mailer

Eurgh! When I challenged Amazon on the use of standard A1 cardboard mailers for steelbooks last year, this was the response I received:

I'm very sorry to hear you received the Doctor Who - Series 1 Steelbook (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray] [2017] in an inappropriate standard A1 cardboard mailer instead of specialist steelbook packaging. Thanks for taking the time to let us know.

The packaging methods we use have typically proven over time to protect item effectively. We take full responsibility for the safe delivery of your order, and if your order is damaged in any way, we’ll replace it free of charge.

You can leave a comment about the packaging we use online through our program "Packaging Feedback". You'll be asked to fill in ratings and answer questions. You'll also have the option to upload a photo of your parcel. We review all comments and use them to improve our services.

Which is all very well IF the item is still available and hasn't sold out (which has happened to me with Zavvi titles before), not to mention the hassle of having to go through the replacement process - both for the customer and for them!

I now make sure I always comment on the packaging used (especially when it has got damaged and failed to protect the item inside).

I don't think so!
I had a very tiny ding, very very lucky!
What gets me with Zavvi is that they think it is acceptable to offer a % refund for damaged steelbooks! That sure is some fantastic business practice right there!
If their continuation of A1 mailers for expensive steelbooks continues they will just not sell any! I can't see on this forum that anybody has bought the Bad Boys I & II 4K steelbook!....Zavvi will probably send out a " last few remaining" email soon on that one!
