I know everyone is talking about how bad the CGI will smith genie looks... and yes, its bad. like. really bad.
BUT...
Can we talk for a minute about how bad Jafar looks!? The acting. The voice. Feels all sorts of wrong.
Again, I'm with you. We only saw a glimpse of him and boy do I miss Tim Curry…

Jafar is played by a Dutch B-actor who we in the Netherlands see as a soap-serie-actor.... Why?!?
Genie is played by Will Smith and even worse...... Looks like Will Smith..... :wtf:

Okay so for the past 2 days this trailer has made me so angry. To the point where my Nan passed away yesterday morning and this awful looking film that I was so looking forward to has completely taken my mind off things

In a one minute hit, Ritchie and and smith have managed to sh!t on Williams grave and performance, make hafar sound like he’s a camp air steward attempting pantomime and smith as the genie has managed to rage me and scare the sh!t out of me at the same time. Wtf!! It looks like a b movie porno!!

Jafar will most definately be getting A-laddin

This looks wayyy better:

But… Jafar… ugh...

Seriously? Why didn't they just wait and start with this trailer. IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER.
They did a lot of harm with that last teaser its going to be hard to make up for it with audiences.

Even Genie looks better because it seems like they had time to work on the effects. I actually want to see this now.

But yeah, totally agree. Jafar is painfully miscast. Every time he opens his mouth i get sad.

Is Smiths blue hue a tribute to Williams? I can’t understand why the blue when he looks so much better as himself in this.

Believe it or not, when the first tease of his character appeared on the front of Entertainment Weekly, the majority of people on social media were actually complaining that he wasn't blue... Smith had to reassure them that he would be blue in the film lol.
