First up is a new poster for ALIEN 3 - or more appropriately - ALIEN³, by Ronald Wimberly. We love this oft-misunderstood debut film from auteur David Fincher. ALIEN³ is as much a departure from (and extension upon) the second film, as that one was from the first. It’s an abrasive, guttural, nihilistic, misanthropic mood piece set on an industrial prison planet. And for us, it works. Ronald Wimberly is one of our favorite illustrators. It’s been exciting to work together and to see his approach to a divisively awesome film.
Next we have a new poster by Sara Deck for one of the best BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER episodes in the series: “HUSH”. The tenth episode of Season 4 is iconic. With excellent fairy tale storytelling and genuinely creepy character design in The Gentlemen, HUSH is one of the series’ many, many highlights. Sara Deck’s adoration of the series is infectious, and we’re very excited to offer this poster for fans of the Buffyverse.
