This doesn't even seem to be actually really based off the original Manga either.
In fact, going off that trailer, Edge of Tomorrow seems to have more of a closer connection to the original source material than this.
Looks great though.
I like the fact it's such an adaptable and malleable story that it inspires continues creative filmmakers.
