Another ugly steel, which I have zero interest in buying given I've got the 88films deluxe sets. It does give me some minor hope that Universal will release the Wedding in 4k themselves now though, as 88films didn't. I'd happily take Reunion as well.

Oh, so I guess they're gonna do all of them in steelbooks.
I have the 88Films boxsets, and the steels are ugly, so I'll wait for deep sales or a steelbox with all...

Their AP1 didn't use 88films so I wouldn't hold your breath.
Didn't it? Ouch. I mean 88's AP 4K wasn't jaw dropping, but the blu-ray was from a dire dvd master, so it's a big improvement over that. I guess that's why Uni's has reviewed poorly then.

AP2 has always looked considerably better tbf, so Uni's will probably look fine. I do hope Uni do the Wedding as well, and fix the contrast from the blu-ray. It's real a shame 88 didn't get to it, as that that never had a DI, so it's ripe for a 4K scan.

I'd take Reunion too, but that's got a perfectly fine 2012 blu-ray. It's not a very showy film, and it's got a 2K DI, so assuming it doesn't get a full new master (doubtful), it's not going to amount to much more on 4K tbh.
