Pumped for this.... By far my favourite of the franchise. We're also getting Wedding, Reunion and the Presents movies but only on Blu ray, I wonder why?

I've still taken the plunge and ordered the lot of HMV, with a referral code.

Yeah definitely m8, fun movies to chill out too, I'm super glad I picked up the deluxe for number one from 88, as this will line up nicely next to that. I like the first 3.

Reunion and Presents on blu only is a bit odd. I've never seen them. But yeah why?

I'll not be buying them on blu. I'm pretty sure I have a blu boxset with Reunion in.

Can only think they're targeting completists... of which I'm one... and I'm not tempted... even with a HMV code lol

So glad the spinoff sidequells are also being released in a similar styled Boxset, I wanted to buy them all separately anyway.
I've dismissed them previously as crappy second rate DTV fare, but now that practically everything that's being released is crappy and second rate, they seem better.

Given the age of Wedding I thought we might have a similar situation to Once Upon a Time in Mexico, but it looks like it was actually shot on film and so was Reunion, so a 4K scan would definitely be worth doing for both. Guess I'll just wait and see if they both get a 4K release later on.

Happy to stick with 1080p for the Presents series though.

They're already up for pre order on HMV. No official announcement, but can't see the blu ray being up and not the 4K? As AP2 4K pre order is up also.

Yeah, I'm a bit torn over what to do. I really want a matching set, but I have them on Blu-ray already and there's no mention of a new transfer, so it's basically £50 for 2 slips and booklets.

Is this just to get them out the door and they'll release them later like they did Dragons Forever.
