Thanks for that mate, I did think it was region locked. I wasn't the biggest fan of the lenti though so I'm hoping the steel has decent artwork!

No it isn't and famously there is no region hack for it. Wouldn't play Mondo Drive "checked" and doesn't play US dvd's of which I have 100's.

For info: PS are region locked but the games are region free. Hence why some people can get mixed up.

My UK one plays US games, so I would assume the BD player is region free. I haven't got a region A blu to hand.

I wouldn't expect it to play NTSC DVDs.

Crap, quite right. Just tried my Blufans Up 2D disc and it didn't work.

Bloody hell, I've gone this entire time thinking it was region free. Luckily I've never bought a region A blu!
