Latest review confirms the update to 1080p. But the reviewer also confirms 100% that this new version is the cut one, comparing with the Australian uncut bluray for guidance. Deeply disappointed. [emoji20]
Its not his review is for the EIV disc (Mr M A Wahlberg)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SJ1JZGC/?tag=hidefnin-21
Each review has a link to the release purchased when you click the link in the review its for Eiv release from Feb 2015

I left him a comment he purchased the wrong Disc

He purchased the EIV Disc from Feb 2015

Links don't show up on Android app. Thanks dude.

I've contacted LionsgateUK on Twitter for an answer [emoji23]
Never trust reviews on amazon that have lots of reviews of different releases when these reviews show up with a new released version
Some might have a recent review date but are for an older release of that film

Some reviews are very confusing for customers and I avoid them as they often are for an older release

Isn't the difference in length simply a result of EiV incorrectly listing the DVD run time instead of the Blu-ray run time?

No, there is a cut version that runs at around 98mins and an uncut version that runs at 102mins. Some of the sex scene was removed in the cut version. [emoji2]

I don't think that is correct, a whole four minutes of cut footage doesn't sound plausible at all. The EiV disc is 1080i/25fps (the same speed as a PAL DVD) and the run time is 98 mins. The Lionsgate disc is 1080p/24fps and the run time is 102 minutes. The numbers seem to back up the Amazon reviewer.

BBFC list the lions gate release as
All known versions of this work passed uncut
They have a few listings with different run times

The only way to be sure is to check the run time on the actual disc itself and not what's printed on the disc info on the Blu-ray Case

The best way then is to compare another release on Blu-ray that's known 100% to be uncut to see that run time
Its possible for a cut to still be done though and run time be not affected but usually a cut that's more than a few seconds will show a different run time
Audio though can have cuts and not affect run time and also a scene can be digitally cut and not affect run time

BBFC List the run time for this release as 97m 47s but that's the time for the DVD and EIV Blu-ray (Pal 1080 50i)
The Run time for the Blu-ray is actually 1:42:01 =102 min

The reviewer if you look at the release amazon says he purchased the EVI release from Feb 2015 as that's what he reviewed and the link of his purchase brings you to this release and not the new lions gate one

Its possible though he entered a review and picked the wrong listing to do his review for

The link of his review is for this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SJ1JZGC/?tag=hidefnin-21

If he meant to review the Lions gate one he should have picked this one

The Lionsgate Blu-ray USA and UK release

The UK DVD was unrated version

Four cuts and two different shots in one scene
The Unrated DVD Version runs approximately 17 seconds longer compared to the DVD releases that were the R-rated Version

Has anyone got the USA Blu-ray to compare it to the new UK Blu-ray to see if any differences in actual run time

I know the Australian release is 100% confirmed as uncut

I got a member on BD Forum to check the UK Lions Gate Blu-ray Disc
UK Blu-ray run time is 1:42:01 =102 Min and 1 Second

UK = 1:42:01
USA = 1:42:02
AU =142.02

I see listed on Caps-a-holic
Australia and USA Blu-ray run time
1:42:02 = 102.02

That's only 1 second difference so UK must be the same unrated cut
The r-rated going by the German release is lot less

The German R-rated Blu-ray run time is 101:46 (1:41:46)
The USA Unrated Blu-ray run time 102.02 (1:42:02)
The UK Blu-ray run time 102.01 (1:42:01)

So the UK Lions Gate Blu-ray is the unrated cut unless you want to count 1 second difference

That's brilliant :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
Thank You

So 1 second that's not much of a cut whatever it is
Picture quality on the UK looks pretty much the same a tiny difference I can see between the 2

Hurry up the steelbook release
I'll probably get the AMARAY Blu-Ray while I wait though as I like the black case
