The winning entry for WHIPLASH had to be pulled because so many people were not in agreement with it winning.
These contest have a bad history.

...however I hope you are right.

I didn't know that the machete kills was a competition as well and I agree, it's very underwhelming, but I really liked all the other ones so far. That "Only God Forgives" didn't turn out well unfortunately on the finished product because of printing limitations, but the artwork itself is really good imo.
