Special announcement, April 15 2014
hey guys, official announcement from ES.

Hi,

Thank you for pre-ordering the Anchorman 2 SteelBook with the Entertainment Store.

We have received advanced copies of the product and have noticed that through the manufacturing process there has been a small amount of stretching on the corners of the SteelBook. We have been assured by the manufacturer of the SteelBook, Scanavo, that this is a manufacturing trait associated with the high gloss finished that has been used. Please see link below for an image of the stretching.

Whilst this is a manufacturing trait we do appreciate that for some customers this could potentially be a problem. We are contacting you ahead of shipping the product to highlight this trait to give you the opportunity to change your mind on your order before we ship you the product.

We will of course accept all returns and provide a full refund if you are unsatisfied with the product once your receive it in line with our standard terms and conditions.

Thank you for your custom,

The Entertainment Store

Oh yes now were talking! well done ES

If I'm not mistaken they ship internationally from their EBay store.

Only some tittles they ship to Rep of Ireland from their EBay Store
Forbidden Planet
Natural Born Killers
The Walking Dead

The recent new releases
Corpse Bride
True Romance
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa

Not listed Yet on there EBay Store

They really should though in my opinion ship at least to Rep of Ireland on there main store on Play
More sales and makes sense to me to do it

I expect we will see this happen at some stage but I'm inpatient waiting for it to happen

I can't see them 'just' shipping to Ireland. Not unless they go fully international.

This is where 'Parcel Motel' comes in handy :naughty:

Would think about getting this if it's under £20...which might still be the case as this isn't a 3D title...right? Or will this just be premium price 'cause of the treatment?

A few people ridiculed myself and others when we suggested that distributors were responsible for pricing but that is why Entertainment One are selling their new releases through HMV for £14.99 and Paramount are selling their releases through Entertainment Store for £24.99. Entertainment Store proved it wasn't their decision by offering 2 Guns for £17.99. What I am basically saying is that I'll be amazed if this is anything less than £24.99.

Weird looking Steelbook. 4k? Going to struggle to sell out unless this movie has a huge fanbase.

This movie has a huge fanbase. But the price is definitely going to turn a lot of people off. Especially with the 2-movie steelbook getting released in the US (which will be cheaper and perhaps a better option for those who don't care to buy the Zavvi steel of the first movie).

And I don't think it looks weird. This looks great. But for what it's going to cost to import, it most likely isn't worth it (if by some miracle it happens to be priced around £15 then I may have to consider it).

my bank balance is telling me no...my enjoyment of the movie is telling me "christ girl this is probably gonna be £24.99 are you high god just get the standard amaray"

but u know what I might just try and get it anyway heck yeah my stupidity B)

If this is under £20 I'll be ordering, if not, I don't really think the film was all that great so it would have to be a really nice steel.

That's why I asked earlier in the thread if people think 24.99 or 27.99.

Bad grandpa is 24.99 but this has a bigger fan base and limited 4k plus super high gloss paramount style is back and embossing front and back.

I'm not expecting it to be under 24.99 but I would not be surprised if they tacked on another 1,2 or 3,pounds to the price.
