Right? You can barely even see it. Zavvi hating bandwagon. They have released alot of steels everyone wanted. And price reductions are the risk you take.

I think it does look matte. If you look at Transformers beside it (that's matte also) it looks like the same finish. If you then look at The Lone Ranger at the bottom it looks glossy compared to the other two.

They all have cellophane on though, so it's impossible to tell. Pictures of The Lone Ranger show that it is in fact... matte

It is a matte finish but I think it looks superb, Its supposed to be wood effect so gloss would look daft in my opinion

They should have spot glossed everything on the front that isn't wood. That would have looked nice IMHO. Still a smart and different looking steelbook.

This turned out to be a really nice steelbook imo. Just one of a few instances where matte actually suits the design better than gloss would (because it's wood). I usually think the interior art in steelbooks looks pretty dull... but in this case it's quite bright/clear. I agree that everything else on the front that isn't wood should have been spot-gloss though.

Very happy with it overall. Roll on an Anchorman 2 steelbook!
