that GB is 190GBP vs 145GBP direct

no one is going to care about faster shipping or customer support when they have to pay 45GBP extra

hope its more reasonable here (10-15%)
Oh sorry I thought the OC was £150 through Astro. So it’s £25 more for the singles and £45 more for the OC through trig lol

I'm out with family atm but my mobile is blowing up and I see it's reference allocation and GB prices.

I've actually held back more allocation on all singles then anywhere else you can purchase them from, the only thing that were less was the OC and that's because this was the first time I've gone ahead with an OC, I needed to be reasonable on the approach for numbers, I really didn't want 600 allocation and there be 500 left over etc.

300 seemed a decent number to trial it.

GB got the most allocation on OCs because of the ease of shipping for me which in turn will help this release be a lot quicker.

Other retailers allocate all there OCs & Slips to pretty much every host and what's left over will be on pre order , that's not the case here.

For instance -

GB hosts average around 50 slips of each single

Website will have 400 of each.

OC is the only one. It's hard to gauge for a second release.

Will respond later to any other questions,

One place already has 73 OC orders, maybe they're unusually high on orders but it's not exactly filling me with confidence on the odds of securing one direct later.

Not every hosts allocation is the same, I've also allocated a specific just for direct orders, plus what's left from GBs.

Those 73 via me would mean 73 individual OCs I'd have to pack 73 labels 73 different boxes etc it was so time consuming for LS that I believed this was the easiest and best route for both me and the customer.

The reason another retailer sells out in minutes quite often is because there is hardly any stock left it's already gone to GBs, Other than the OC that's not the case here.

If the OC proves to be as popular as it is with Annihilation then I will need to seriously consider a higher number next time. It's only my second gig, I had absolutely no idea it would be this popular, so much so this was my third choice of title to release :)

Sorry not sure how the GB system works, and from reading the extra posts on here its sounding like it costs more than the website?
but don't see how that should be the case for someone ordering from the UK?

GB is an extra cost. The margin is set by the host because it's their time and effort; covers postage, handling and packaging in most cases.

It's a job. Look at it that way. Plus it's a guaranteed copy for the extra cost.
