Not every hosts allocation is the same, I've also allocated a specific just for direct orders, plus what's left from GBs.

Those 73 via me would mean 73 individual OCs I'd have to pack 73 labels 73 different boxes etc it was so time consuming for LS that I believed this was the easiest and best route for both me and the customer.

The reason another retailer sells out in minutes quite often is because there is hardly any stock left it's already gone to GBs, Other than the OC that's not the case here.

If the OC proves to be as popular as it is with Annihilation then I will need to seriously consider a higher number next time. It's only my second gig, I had absolutely no idea it would be this popular, so much so this was my third choice of title to release :)
Could we hope for some more pieces that you could EXPAND the print-run, overall, later?
In case some of us don't manage to secure ONE piece of ANY of the edition (not saying against those who gets more than one)?

Damn wish I knew there was a GB on here. I’ve gone with the other UK one, although the pricing is way high IMO. I do hate this GB nonsense raising prices to line their pockets (not having a go at Sam as I don’t know what his prices would be), especially when their allocation is higher than the actual website

The GB allocations aren't higher than the website on the slips. Only the One Click is higher according to @AstroC13

No. The print run is set now. It won't change for this release.

I bought the OC just doesn’t sit right with me I’ve paying a extra £30 for someone else to send me it but needs must I guess

Well then yep. GBs have the higher stock number on OCs. I get it. It's a bit of a shine on by that particular GB host, but then...you've got one secured right.
If you didn't want it enough, then you wouldn't buy it I guess. Don't regret it, if you love what you've bought.
So it's a win bud.

I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced so I had to get it but just wanted to have a little rant lol

I know, I run my own little business and packaging stuff is the least fun part. It's a big help if you standardise packaging sizes, void fill, have machines for gummed tape etc but it still sucks up time.

I'm not suggesting you should or shouldn't favour GB's, I simply wanted some clarity on direct availability because being in the UK I'd be much happier just ordering direct but it sounds like it's going to be murder with such low quantities, I know this is early days for you but I'm thinking of Manta lab where they have around 600 OC's and that usually brutal.

The main issue here is the allocation of OCs direct via my website (that's on me) as I've said it's the first one I've done so had no idea how it would sell.

That being said there is still a healthy allocation for direct buyers, just probably not enough to satisfy everyone. As previously mentioned my reasoning behind the OC allocation was in the mind set for ease of service, shipping and time spent elsewhere rather than packing all day.

Being just the second release it's all learning, I just didn't want to set 5/600 OCs for half of them to be possibly to be sat on the website for months, besides as a collector I personally feel the meaning of "limited edition" is being lost of late with reprints and mass numbered editions that was also the purpose of a lower print run.

Ultimately it's just the OC at issue, I have 6x the GB allocation on my website of single slips.

The idea was - GB be used for worldwide customers & my website for the UK, next time I will look at the OC allocation more carefully , title depending on course.

Totally understand your point I really do, but I'm just one person operation still at present, manta lab have huge resource across every aspect and in most situations even the poorest titles sell out and just get humped on eBay the day after for an upsell. unfortunately I'm not quite at that point where I can justify the spend on 600 OCS to be made and not be sold.

With the latest GBs pricing it could be a case my allocation I held back for the website for OCs may double yet. I will update you :)

Thanks for the response. I actually like the idea of a more limited one click run makes the set feel more “limited” it’s just how low the amount is on the website but I understand your reasons around the allocation. The set looks amazing btw, can’t wait to have it in hand! Ps please do a Van helsing release next!

Thank you, appreciate the support and interest, it all helps towards further releases. That was a possibility once but doubt that would happen anymore as I no longer have a relationship with that studio as it stands.

I totally agree with this sentiment, having to pay £30 extra for the same item just sent from someone else and in the same country is something i couldn't agree to.
Hopefully goes fine buying from the site at launch time.
